The unique fire system of the real AN-94 is duplicated in Black Ops 2 but the weapon doesn't fire exactly at the same rate of the actual weapon, the first two shots fire at 900 RPM but quickly slows down to 625 RPM when you hold down the trigger. The range is good but at a distance of 29 meters the damage drops off to 33, meaning that ranges where assault rifles would normally still perform well will result in you getting several hit markers.

For reference this is the same damage profile as the M-TAR.
In game the AN-94 is unlocked at Level 55 and is a moderate damage assault rifle, it deals a total of 40 points of damage up close and 24 at a distance.
